ABOUT us
Speakeasy is a project led by five 18-year-old that have opinions on the multitudes of life. We aim to provide a ground level as well as a far more human perspective to the countless pieces of news that we are exposed to. However, we are not journalists. All of our content is subjective and based on the dozens of hours we spend researching, discussing, writing, editing and scrutinising.
Sameed is a typical debater who loves to hear himself speak.
He is also a poet, as well as a semi-average guitarist who is deeply fascinated by politics and aims to bring a grassroot perspective to policy.
A humble pseudo-intellectual who is fluent in 3 languages and dialects (including Latin from Google Translate)
He prides himself only on the ability to immaculately bullshit.

Music is his only vice.
A published writer, a poet, musician and a student who tries to be politically educated and active in discussions.

They also actively advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights and feminism.
A person who consumes unhealthy amounts of media in ungodly amounts of time.

His fiction addiction is only interrupted when speaking about issues or chewing gum, and he's all out of gum.
Whilst discovering new roads home, you'll find this 5’1” adventure junky buried in cassettes and paints.

She tends to get aggressive in a hand of uno and especially when voicing what she believes in.
